This was the largest video game localization project I have ever participated in. The overall volume was huge, and the project lasted almost a year and a half.
I translated every task within tight deadlines. Lots of audio and onscreen strings, UI and system messages, website content, blog posts, user manuals for various platforms, help articles, downloadable content, and much more—all translated on time.
The main challenges here were the numerous updates of in-game dialogues, weapon and construction terminology, and a lack of context for UI strings.
